Sebba A "Community Opera" is a series of productions where most of the participants are children and adults – amateur chorus singers and dancers – working along with professional soloists, orchestra, director and designers. It is a very special initiative of the Israeli Opera. Most of the amateur participants have never been introduced to opera beforehand. Once they get to take part in a production and are led by a professional team into a magical world of opera, they become aware of this wonderful form of art. "Wonderful sounds, lots of colors and plenty of local talents were seen on the stage of the Municipal Auditorium, in a Gala performance of L'elisir d'amore. 180 singers, dancers and acrobats had taken part in the show…It was a great experience…" (In Netanya) Click on any of the above images to view larger version Photos:
